Many rabbits are dumped all over the US, especially after Easter, the shelters are FULL of rabbits. The local bunny owners, near Alondra Park, believe that by leaving their rabbits on the Alondra Park Island, they would be more happier than putting them in a shelter; which is not true because of the myriad of injuries that are evident on the rescued rabbits.
